Lately Ive seen so many posts that read Ive lost faith in humanity. Why? And who are you to say that youve lost faith in humanity, which you yourself are a part of? How are you any higher or exalted than the rest of mankind, who is indeed inherently sinful but also gloriously redeemed by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ? To be ignorant enough to say that youve lost faith in humanity is to say that youve no faith in the God who is in control of all, including humanity. To be that ignorant shows that you are truly selfish by saying that YOU have lost faith in humanity. Again, who are you to have lost faith in humanity after the many failures and shortcomings and sins in your life, after you were forgiven and shown endless mercy and love by an awesome, powerful God? Trust in God. Humanity is not within your sphere of control. Have faith in God and His power and authority in heaven AND earth. For what is the point of carrying out the good news of Christ to those whom you have no faith in?
