LoMo seeks to share factual information with our residents for their consideration. Residents who wish to state their opinion in this case are encouraged to contact Councilman Squilla — Please refer to the “Elected Officials” page of this website for his contact info. A Cease Operations/Stop Work Order has been issued to the doctor’s office located at 2326 S. 12th Street. It cites that the proper permits must be obtained by August 7, 2013. PLEASE NOTE: This is an over-the-counter permit that can be issued without community input. If the proper permit is obtained by August 7, the doctor’s office will be able to continue to operate legally. We would like to thank Councilman Squilla for responding to the concerns of many of our residents in this matter. The Councilman plans to convene a meeting next week with City representatives — details TBA. We will share those details as soon as they become available. The Councilman will also be working to convince the doctor to consider relocating away from our residential neighborhood, as per the desires of many nearby residents.
