LatestNews - Burglary in Christchurch - Witness appeal Officers investigating a burglary in Christchurch are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward. The incident took place between midnight and 9.30am on Friday 28 November 2014 in Dorset Road. The offenders gained access to the house by smashing a patio door at the rear of the property. A number of electrical items were taken, including televisions. The owner was not in at the time. Police Constable Mat Silvey, of Christchurch police, said: “Witnesses have described seeing a man wearing dark clothing pushing a wheelie bin in the area at around 4am on Friday 28 November 2014. “I am appealing to anyone who saw this individual or anything suspicious to contact me.” Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101, quoting incident number 28:99.
