Laughed myself to sleep last night after spending the evening with one of my heroes, his lovely wife, and his super chill buddy. I was laughing because after doing that, then I went to bed as a guest in his (frankly) amazing home. The rooms, the lighting, the carved masks, the techno punk/mix of all that was cool from the past five decades, and the quite substantial love, peace, and harmony in the home. For me it was surreal, like I was dreaming. And, it only gets better as I will be spending the entire weekend working with him while he develops a revolutionary new product and program. Hard to believe just four years ago I was urged to read The Game (thanks, Mason Weiss) and was captivated by one of the characters in the book. You could say I was mesmerized by this man and what he could do. Later, I saw him in program called The Annihilation Method and I knew I had to meet this gentle giant. And now? Well, I am sleeping in his home, about to be introduced into what is for most people pure fantasy, yet it is constant reality. I only hope what I offer in return is fair recompense. Life. Awesome.
