Laura Thinking Out Loud: When Does Popular OPINION Out Weigh The Justice of Evidence!!! Very disappointed in the violence ... Are we as a country looking for corrupt juries now to make a decision on the basis of telephone talk...a.k.a. gossip I believe Martin Luther King Jr. would have stood behind the Justice of Evidence. So do we as a society believe vigilantism is the new law enforcement! Are we becoming more and more like little spoiled children who throw temper tantrums with guns, fire, and our fists because we do not get our own way! I choose to have respect for the time and sacrifice these jurors gave. I hope we do not set a precedent that if the evidence does not support the popular vote, we throw out justice in fear of violence. Justice must remain more important than the threat of violence; otherwise, and even greater violence of destruction and losses of freedom will only escalate in our country as a whole! A country without Justice is a very scary place to live. The Evidence Was Spoken and May It Still Continue to Speak! Concerned for America!
