Dear Facebook friends I am writing to ask for help. As many of you know dad is receiving continued therapy at home since his discharge from inpatient care. We have, in the last few days, let alone the last few years, been experiencing major electrical problems at home. My parents have been able to endure it in the early stages but now, it is posing a threat to my dads continued care at home. Today, I was challenged with how to cook his meals when our stove would not heat up--all lights would come on but the burners and oven would not heat up, however, I managed to use a small toaster oven to make his meals. I checked the circuit breakers and still nothing worked. Just now I attempted to wash his clothes and the lights in the laundry room turned off as well as the washing machine, several times, I checked the circuit breaker--I managed to turn on the lights but when I turn on the washing machine, the lights would go off. Weve consulted with a few electricians and weve had to reconsider the work that is necessary to be done because of the extensive work along with the cost. I am asking if anyone knows of anybody who is a reliable electrician, please contact me. As you know, the burden of medical expenses has been heavy for us and we are seeking someone that is willing to work with us--we are not asking for free services by any means just help. I am concerned that with the situation escalating, it could pose a fire hazard as well affect my fathers recovery. Thank you.
