Laura, the lovely lady conducting the Bare Reality project has asked me to pass on details of it. She has been travelling around the country to interview and photograph (anonymously!) women on the subject of breasts (our perceptions, prejudices, experiences, feelings etc) for a social/art project which will culminate in a book. In particular she needs to gather more subjects from ethnic minorities, younger women of 18+, women over 70, trans women, and non-breastfeeding women. She has had a great reception from white women in their 20s-30s, and an excellent uptake from lesbian women, breastfeeding mothers, post-mastectomy women, and some asian women. If you are a true feminist and want to share your own opinions on breasts- get involved!
