Leaders of a few NGOs, the Bar Council and Suhakam have been invited to meet U.S. President Obama this Sunday. The NGOs include Bersih, the Islamic Renaissance Front, Sisters in Islam, Tenaganita and Empower. (Im surprised Suaram was not included.) I think this shows that the U.S. Embassy in KL is truly on the ball and knows whats what in KL. And it wants Obama to have a rounded view of Malaysia. It must have been the U.S. Embassy that selected the NGOs. Good on the Embassy! I hope Obama will be well briefed by these true moderates of Malaysia on what is really happening in and to our country. He may not be able to do anything about it but he might at least acquire a different perception of Najib the false democrat and fake moderate. malaysiakini/news/261000
