Lee County Sheriffs Office First Tweet from the Beat Thursday, July 31, 2014 For the first time in Lee County Sheriffs Office history, we will be participating in “Tweet from the Beat”, Friday, August 1, 2014. Public Information Officer, Tiffany Wood, will be riding along with a South District Deputy from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wood will be posting text, photos and video to give people a first-hand look at law enforcement. This virtual ride-along will give people a taste of what a typical day/night on the beat looks like. We’ll be utilizing our Twitter account, @leesheriff, so people can follow our virtual ride along firsthand. We want to create awareness into the daily grind of the Lee County Sheriffs Office, and boost awareness on our social media pages that contain valuable information daily. Anyone can follow along by going to twitter/leesheriff. We encourage people to join in by creating a free account and following the Lee County Sheriff’s Office (@leesheriff). We will be doing a Q&A throughout the day.
