Let me say up front, Im glad Sgt. Bergdahl has been released, but - TopicsExpress

Let me say up front, Im glad Sgt. Bergdahl has been released, but Obama accomplished something I think most people are missing. He has established the precedent that his Executive Privilege trumps any law. Check out this quote from the left-leaning Washington Post: Top Republicans on the Senate and House armed services committees went so far as to accuse President Obama of having broken the law, which requires the administration to notify Congress before any transfers from Guantanamo are carried out. When was the last time you saw a news story report Police responding to the silent alarm WENT SO FAR AS TO ACCUSE the masked, armed man coming out of the bank with a bag of money of having broken the law which requires people to not rob banks. ??? It is the Washington Posts strong implication that Republicans have gone too far in expecting Obama to obey the law and, in fact, Barack Obama cannot break a law because HE IS NOT BOUND BY LAW.
