Let me start by saying, I dont know enough to be sure if Common Core is a good or bad thing. I do know there is some pretty strong criticism of The Common Core Standards. I generally ignore the critics that just base their argument on things such as; its federal intrusion (even though that concerns me), its satanic, it promotes Islam, etc.. Critics that have a background learning/teaching, evidenced based assessment, child development, child psychology, age appropriate instruction; these get my attention. If what I hear and read is true, the CCS standards had very little input from these type if people. Has the CCS been tested anywhere before it was implemented? These things concerns me!
