Let me tell a story about my visit to a little white church on a dead end street in Atlanta Georgia. I thought my GPS was acting up, taking me down the wrong street. Thought the address was written wrong. I’m shock seeing this is no different than the other church’s visited. Thinking John Battle Former NBA player and Regina Belle Grammy and Academy Award singer the place would be elaborate. Church built just like any other church in the city secured doors and not sure which one to enter. If you are late to church you sit up front. Not surprise I always end up in the front. Actually visiting ministers are supposed to sit up front but I don’t tell people right away. I have yet to wear a suit or tie and still get called to the pulpit. The choir was on point and the woman leading the choir was terrific. I realized that’s Regina singing. I was getting a gospel show from her without paying. How great is that? She sang her heart out to God. As if she was alone with him praising and we were blessed. John is real cool and charismatic like the president. He was not sitting up front in the pew he was on the side enjoying the show like the rest of us. Hiding behind the musicians. The place is small compared to other places it may hold a hundred people or so. The young girl that also sang I later learned was her daughter. She can sing very well. When the pastor got up to speak and do his thing it was fun, interesting, entertaining and the word. I can see why the Holy Spirit loves this place. They are ready, they have been obedient, and they understand that unless God builds it they labor in vain. If you live in the Atlanta area and don’t have a church home this is it. If you have family or friends in the area you want to tell them about this place. It’s about to take off and get in while you can. I bought tickets to the birthday and anniversary. I was told to sponsor and it was one of the Mothers of the church. Sowed a good seed there. At the end of the service I asked people is it always this fun? They replied very much so, yes it is.
