Let me tell you about a project - Jumpstart Bootcamp Mexico. You see, when someone graduates with an engineering degree in Mexico, they often end up in the manufacturing industry. About 60% of all graduates of all engineering fields, including Information Technology, take jobs in factory systems. This works fine for many but not for all. Many want to control their future, to be able to work in a field where they are not a commodity and a highly valued for their skills. But there is that word, skills. University programs teach the core theories of their fields, not the skills necessary to get started in a carrier. Thus, big industry teaches some - but emerging industry generally cant. In the US, the problem is much the same, but because of the demand for people in the IT industry, developers bootcamps have been started. We dont have any comparable programs in Mexico right now but we do have a need. The need for software developers in Mexico has never been greater and it is growing everyday. This is a growing, dynamic business where skills are always in demand and you are always learning. Were working on starting the first developers bootcamp in Mexico. It will be twelve weeks of intense hands on learning of the skills needed to become an entry level software developer working on a team. If you know someone who is near graduation, thinking about their job prospects, if you would like to help us let them know - Please share this link with them: (en espanol) jumpstartbootcamp.mx/
