Let me vent for a minute....I think its quite sad you have ppl out here who went to college for a better life in there future and only to graduate and be unemployed.....I tell ppl nowadays its best to go through a 9month program to be a pharmacy tech or something of that nature in order to obtain a job or just learn a trade PERIOD....I kno so many individuals who went to college to obtain a four year degree only to end up in a whole different field....growing up ppl tell you go to college go get your degree to make something out of yourself and we as humans do as such only to be disappointed and in debt at the end....I learned alot to use in the real world the three years I did go to college and it teaches you ethics and how to deal with several situations in any field in which you choice and teaches you how to deal with ppl I will never say that it didnt teach me that because it did....BUT on the other hand how are you taught those skills only to be unemployed....smh...I kno plenty college grads who are bartenders,hairstylist,MUAS or just all around hustlers period because they were unable to find a position in there field with there degree....ppl are starting off with 25,000 a year...like seriously who can live comfortably off that with owed debt,kids and etc.? Most ppl are working two jobs PPL with degrees might I add in order to make ends meet...living to pay bills...I mean ppl who dont even live above there MEANS are struggling...you got ppl who are used by these temporary services making 200 a week and will never be considered as a candidate for a permanent position with a company....like how is that legal?...shit Im a hairstylist and I feel the wrath of struggle from time to time....who can live and pay bills off 200 a week????.....cost of living continues to escalade but yet the yearly gross of income still remains the same....Im lost??.....ppl waiting in line for work hoping they are let through the door....I tell ppl a MEDICAL trade is the best trade to have because u have job security which is the most important....the turnover rate is very rare and you will always have a job anywhere you go....you damn near have to have a PH.D to make it....ppl with BAs making 30,000 a year and ppl with MBAs making 50,000...if you not going for the big shit like nursing,doctorate,accountant like what are you going for?......I am amazed at some of the stories I hear ppl tell....intelligent well rounded individuals at that...these days its not your credentials its WHO YOU KNOW and thats becoming the biggest issue....you got Carol who has the credentials and the professionalism to go along with and here is Jennifer who can barely write a complete sentence or speak in a professional tone who gets the job because her aunt is friends with the supervisor....smh...pick your majors wisely young ppl cus its a cold cruel world and these days not even a college degree counts....wat is the work coming to?
