He has already declared our liberation as can be noted: “at that time I will bring you again, even in the time that I gather you; for I will make you a name and a praise among all the people of the earth when I turn back your captivity before your eyes.” Zephaniah 3:20. Our task therefore, is to acclaim our liberty throughout the land; knowing very well that according to the standard set by God, the 50th year is the time of our liberty. The Lord is bringing us to our former position; where it states “at that time” it means at an appropriate time. Surely Zambia was busy scattering us, but the Lord is gathering us, and establishing us in Barotseland according to his power and mercy. Zambia robbed Barotseland of her name, scorned and despised her. Of course Britain connived with Zambia to plunge Barotseland into captivity; where we were hunted, tortured and incarcerated out of malice. Barotseland had a position, and the heavens are aware of Barotseland’s situation. Indeed we have suffered enough and ridiculed. However, the Lord Himself says He will make us a name and praise. The Lord has redeemed us before our own eyes. THE BOND OF LUCIFER AND ZAMBIAN SHACKLES ARE ALL BROKEN; so stand up and rejoice. Do not tremble oh ye people of Barotseland.
