Lets all agree on one thing, shall we? Long distance relationships SUCK. For some of us, long distance may be 3 hours. For others, it may be 3000 miles. That being said, on occasion, we may find someone we care deeply about, maybe even love, and they could live farther away than we would like. If that feeling turn into a mutual love for each other, than its SUPER important that both parties make the biggest effort possible to make the relationship work. Little things, like Skype calls before you go into work, or big things, like planning a time to go out and see them for a week or so. The main thing is, it cant just be one person making an effort. Its a two-way street, as with every relationship. If you can overcome such a big obstacle as distance, than you, as a couple, can overcome anything! To my friends who are in long distances relationships, keep your head up! As long as you are both putting forth an equal amount of effort and you both love each other enough, it WILL WORK!! Everything is worthwhile in the end, and if it doesnt end up working out, it wasnt meant to be in the first place.
