Lets be clear about something. Only one of the following photos show a protest. The others are not protests. Violence, vandalism and destruction are criminal acts. Im tired of the media showing pictures with a sad narrative saying Oh look at these brave protesters! and then following with a photo or video of someone lighting a car on fire. Want to get your point across? Get involved in your community. Vote. Make your voice heard. Destroying someones business will get you a quick headline for a few days, until everyones interest are piqued by the next big thing and youll be long forgotten by everyone outside of the jail cell youll be sharing.
