Lets take a poll on the Niecy Nash BJ a day comment (Im interested in how responses differ by gender). How many people think shes: 1) Out of her mind 2) Right on point 3) Thinks that a relationship can be built solely on a womans oral performance 4) Is actually saying sincere attention to your partners physical needs is one of the supplemental building blocks of a healthy marriage My interpretation is that shes not saying that you can build and sustain an entire marriage with some specific physical act. What she appears to be saying is that being attentive to your partners needs (whatever they may be) is something you shouldnt ignore. She might also be getting attacked for saying something publicly that most women never would. I would compare her comment to building a house and saying every house should have a nice, clean, usable bathroom. Thats not the same as saying, I only need a bathroom to build a house. So, while the bathroom is clearly not the most important part of the home, it is essential enough that if you forget to build one, you may end up with your guests peeing in the kitchen. At least this appears to work for her marriage.
