Letter to the Family of the Individual driving my dads vehicle when it crashed and he died (who is yet to contact or apologise to the Family). To many innocent people are being killed on our roads and no one is being held accountable. As 2015 sets in I had to get out and also seek justice. Dear Miss. Samuel hope all is well and I wish you happy New year in advance. My sincerest apologies in approaching you this way and via this platform however I have tried many ways to get into contact with Mr.Klint Samuel to no avail. Mr. Samuel was the driver of my fathers vehicle on June 14th 2014(day before fathers day) when he crashed the vehicle and my father died on the spot. The accident included one vehicle and for months we have tried to contact Klint to understand what happened. He didnt have any compassion to contact us. We are aware that he may be going through some mental trauma due to the ordeal. However we to live with this every day of our life, the loss of a father, son and brother. In life certain circumstances arise which we may not like but we have to MAN up to the consequences of our reactions, regardless if they are voluntary or not. Klints situation could have never outweigh my ordeal of taking my fathers dead body out of the mortuary on fathers day or the pain of seeing his 75 year old mother watch her son go down into the ground. Klint had a moral responsibility to speak to our family even apologise. However Klint has neglected this basic human quality and as such we now move to the next level. As you aware this accident has gone into an investigation which so far has revealed reckless driving on Klints part. Thus this creates a case of manslaughter and my family and I will be doing all in our authority to ensure justice is served. To many lives are lost and no one answers. We have reached a part in our nations history where those responsible must answer and be held accountable. This issue could have been dealt with differently had klint sought the family members who lost a loved one so abruptly. Please do not interpret this message as emotion as it is more a message to inform and to ensure that the law is kept. My father was not a dog who when killed in the road no one is accountable. He was a loved person and this we will be seeking justice. I thank you sincerely and I am sorry for the way this message has been sent but there was no other option before the authorities do their job. All the best for the new year.
