Liberia Ebola Appeal New Initiative - Simple but so effective A previous member of the Rotary Club of Guildford, is now working for community development in Liberia and has sent a plea for help in dealing with the outbreak. Her name is Hilary Byrne and she asking for help to buy some rather special buckets, fitted with tops and taps, so that they could be filled with clean water and placed at strategic point where the locals could wash their hands, thus, hopefully, preventing the spread of infection. Club Members have already donate £450 themselves (some 50 buckets) . The Club is holding a special collection day in Guildford high Street on Thursday the 25th September in order that Guildford residents themselves can help with this much needed practical initiative.
