ONLY Only when the sun shines Do the flowers raise up their heads And the trees provide the parasol To cool the nesting beds Only in the darkness Do we watch the moon rise high And the tide that rises then recedes We hear the softening sigh Only when were dying Do we feel the need to live And all the things weve never shared We wish we then could give Only through each other Do we learn the skills of love And the roads we travel in our lives Lead back to God above.
