Life lessons #82. If you dump a giant glass of water on your laptop shut it off immediately. Dry off as much moisture as you can and put it in a sealed bag of rice for at least 3 days. If you have not backed up your work (as your supervisors suggested, like um 100 times) you can likely have the data removed from the hard drive. This also works for beer, coffee, and juice although the sugar etc makes it more difficult. By some miracle, I am writing this on said lap top which seems like her old self. Very thankful.
