Life of the Creative Freelance: ethical update. I had the first positive Ethics class Ive had since Term 1 today. The kids were on fire and we were able to actually discuss some concepts together. Up until now I have spent 25 mins of every 30min class asking the same 4 kids to sit still, stop pushing/pulling/tweaking/stroking/poking/taking their friends whatever, and listen/respect/reflect/stop talking over each other and let others have a turn. The effect that 4 disruptive kids can have on the other 24 is extraordinary - I have felt like the poor teased relief teacher all term! But today... an ethics success story! Yay.
