LifeLines for Educators is an all-day FREE workshop for West TN teachers and other school personnel, sponsored by Bethel University, Freed Hardeman University, Phi Delta Kappa, Union University, University of Memphis at Lambuth, and University of TN at Martin. Presentations by P-12 practitioners and professional education faculty relate to current issues in education and apply to preschool, elementary grades, middle grades, high school, and all grades. Attendees will receive a 1-, 2-, 3-, 4- or 5-hour certificate of attendance as verification to count toward required in-service hours. Attendance cards from school systems can also be signed by a member of the planning committee. Lifelines for Educators 2015 will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015, from 8:00-3:15 on Union Universitys main campus. This years theme is Effective Instruction: Successful Students and Teachers. The LifeLines schedule of presentations is finalized and pre-registration is open. Though pre-registration is not required to attend, it is highly recommended to better ensure a seat in your preferred sessions. To view the schedule and register, go to the LifeLines for Educators website, read the instructions very carefully, and select your desired sessions. uu.edu/programs/epp/events/lifelines-for-educators-2015.cfm
