Lifestyle update: Sally Ferguson has joined MSF (more about them below) and will be working in Sierra Leone from mid September this year til almost the year end! Part 1. of our semi retirement and wanting to work on behalf of others less fortunate than ourselves - Sophie has graduated, and Jack is on a gap year, before Uni in UK next year. As MSF have made it quite clear they dont want trailing spouses (and Lhasa fever and Ebola are not really my idea of fun) that leaves me free to roam Asia working on my photography and writing, some NGO work, and catching up with friends. Off to Northern Luzon with Sally mid August, then back to UK for 3 weeks to see family and friends and a quick jaunt to Geneva, then back to HK and then Vietnam (for work, media consulting, but also an article on Cat Tien national park) end September, and then…..Thailand to do some work with Dan Moore with Sophie Ferguson, plus hope to get over to the Western Ghats as well. Other ideas appreciated…… then all home for Christmas…. then end January the house lease runs out, and we are homeless, so we will do a road trip across USA and Mexico for a month or so, starting with 2 weeks at Sundance film festival in Park City, Utah……
