"Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah." Psalm24 The everlasting gates and doors that were hitherto shut against humanity now has Christ entered on our behalf as our forerunner and the anchor of our hope behind the veil hebrew6:20. He is the Lord strong and mighty, the mighty man in battle because he has wiped out the judgment that was against and for our sake has disarmed principalities and powers, making a public spectacle of them all col2:14-15. Thus, we see the glorification of the Son of Man and the fulfillment of the word of the prophets, "Who is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you visit? For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and you have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of your hands. You have put all things under his feet." psalm8:6 He entered as our forerunner and High Priest to present his blood by which humanity has been redeemed. With that he anchored our hope of salvation, obtained and secured for us an inheritance not perishable. Further more, With the sanctification of the things in heaven with the sprinkling of his blood, the seat of judgment became the mercy seat and the throne of grace. The invisible God who had previously spoken to moses and the priests from between the two cherubims above the mercy seat, is now fully dwelling in his Son and the Son thereby has become the express image of the invisible God and whom also has been appointed heir of all things. He has become the high Priest, the mediator of the new covenant as God is now in Him reconciling the world to himself. Indeed He has become the head of his body, the church, the dwelling place of God in the Spirit. Out of him shall go forth the law and the Word of God for salvation and for judgment(Isaiah2). Amen
