Like her or not, I think we should all appreciate the bravery and courage that Julia Gillard showed over her time as Prime Minister. Being the first female Prime Minister was never going to be an easy task, especially when she did it as the leader of a party in such internal division. The woman was an underdog and a breakthrough of her profession that fought the system and won (for a while). Most Australians look up to that sort of character, well done Julia.
