The Moon is still in Cancer today, applying to trine Saturn before entering Leo by tonight. Meanwhile, the Sun and Mercury are approaching a trine to Jupiter, who has just turned retrograde in Leo. So is been a heavy few days with the Moon in its home sign of Cancer at this darkest time of year (here in the northern hemisphere). In just a few more days the Sun will enter the last decanate of Sagittarius, which is ruled by the Sun, and well be feeling the oncoming solstice/new year light at the end of the tunnel. Right now and for the past week weve been in the mars ruled portion of Sagittarius. There has been a slightly more agitating quality to the daily transits (not to mention we had our full moon under this period and Pluto/Uranus have been in their exact square). Right as the Sun will be entering the solar ruled last ten degrees of Sagittarius this week, the Sun and Mercury will also trine Jupiter in Leo. With Jupiter turned retrograde in the sign of the Lion were going to start refining or revising our beliefs about ourselves. Whenever Jupiter turns retrograde its often a sign that many of the recent new directions weve chosen for our lives (since, say, July) are about to undergo a period of revision, rethinking, redoing, or internalization. Its easy for new things to be flashy and exciting, but over time we learn how to make them a more unconscious, or integral part of ourselves. We learn how to incorporate the wisdom of new choices weve made, and this incorporation period eventually leads to a new time of expansion and moving forward again. With so much Sagittarius energy accompanying this inward/integral turn, its safe to say that our beliefs, our voice, and our vision of the future is all up for review right now. Right in time for the new year of course! A few good Sagittarius questions to ask ourselves... 1. What have I learned this year, or since about mid summer? 2. How has my image changed, how has my confidence grown or been diminished? 3. What are my core beliefs right now and how are they influencing who I am or who Im becoming? What is the shadow side of these beliefs and this becoming? 4. If Im having a crisis of confidence or feeling inept in some way, then what can I do to build myself up toward the vision of myself I believe in most deeply? Prayer: Take faith. Find heart. Believe in yourself. Now is the time to reclaim your focus and start becoming what you know you are deep down inside.
