Likewise every year a group of young volunteers from Cox’s Bazar Modern Language Learning Center organized a massive tree plantation at Cox’s Bazar Sk. Kamal International Cricket Stadium on 22 August 2014. Mr. A.J.M. Nasir Uddin, Director of Bangladesh Cricket Board inaugurated the tree plantation campaign by planting a sapling of flame tree “krichnacura”. Mr. Ashik Ullah Rafique, MP, Mr. Madu, sport personality, Mr. Mohiuddin Mohi, veteran social organizer and president of Modern Language Learning Centre and many other dignitaries were present on this occasion. The objective of this tree plantation campaign is to create awareness among the people about the environmental benefits of trees. Everyone hopes that this campaign will inspire people to carry out such tree plantation more in the future. This plantation will certainly beautify the newly constructed cricket stadium will be enjoyed by the thousands of the tourists in the future. Besides beatification, this plantation will provide a clean environment to the people. At least 3000 trees would be planted within the cricket stadium.
