Linde is currently seeking a Technical Learning & Development Director to join the team in Murray Hill, New Jersey; Stewartsville, New Jersey; or Houston, Texas. Job Responsibilities: ▪ Create and establish strategic and annual training plans to ensure technical competence of the Supply workforce. ▪ Develop, deliver, manage content and measure effectiveness of LIMSS management system. This may encompass the following: o Own and manage the content development for all Supply groups o Selects appropriate instructional procedures or methods such as individual education, group instruction, self-study, course curriculum, and/or computer-based training ▪ Set and monitor appropriate metrics to ascertain overall effectiveness of training program including Traccess, content, tools and usage, and delivery. o Distill alerts, directives, process safety and MIR lessons learned into training system content and delivery; track compliance. o Develop and maintain regional, area, and plant level job descriptions and staffing model o Maintain and keep current the Tonnage Operations staffing model o Take input/direction from the global peer team to modify staffing model as required. o Serve as gatekeeper for all role profiles for the Supply organization to ensure consistency; work with HR to submit job description updates via the automated role profile approval system. o Maintain the Technical Career Path project web site. ▪ Ensure training needs surfaced through succession and talent reviews become translated into Bulk Supply training efforts, simpler matching of training, development and career opportunities in relation to business requirements are made Minimum Qualifications: ▪ Bachelor Degree ▪ Minimum 10 years related business experience in a process plan related industry ▪ Minimum 3 years planning and managing the design, delivery and sustainability of technical training plans and content to align with workforce planning insights ▪ Minimum 3 years blended learning experience to include classroom and e-learning content development and delivery ▪ Minimum 3 years strong systems experience to include learning management systems, e-learning platforms essential ▪ Functional Skills: o Technical training needs assessment, planning, design & delivery ▪ Knowledge of the industrial gas skills and the ability to deliver results o Project management skills and the ability to deliver results o Strong understanding of the systems and processes used in the Linde Group o Excellent oral and written communications skills o Continuous improvement drive and ability to identify improvement opportunities and translate them into actions to attain those opportunities ▪ Interpersonal Skills: o Possesses strong communications skills at all levels o Demonstrated ability to work cohesively in a matrixed team environment o Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and improve existing processes/programs ▪ Bi-lingual English and Spanish/Portuguese a plus ▪ Six Sigma Black Belt training a plus Linde offers excellent salaries, world-class benefits, and unparalleled opportunities for development - all to create an invigorating and satisfying environment.
