For every tornado that you allow, youre holding a thousand back, and for whatever reason you allowed this one.” Sean, a pastor at Frontline Church, was among the group of first responders who helped organize volunteer efforts after the May 20th tornado ripped through Moore, OK. What started out as a handful of people cleaning up lawns with rakes, soon turned into Serve Moore, a collection of local churches working together to deploy nearly 40,000 volunteers that came to serve the communithy. Just a year prior, Sean and his wife were thinking of moving away from Moore, but it became clear after the tornado that God had bigger plans for keeping his family there. They have invested time, energy and resources in bringing aid to their community both physically and spiritually.
