Listening this morning to the pleading meows from TJ as the dish is empty (yes, I fed them at 4:30 a.m.), and now he must wait for the moist food until tonight. He has made a thousand trips to the cabinet sitting meowing as if that might make that door magically open and food appear. He has the crunchy food in a bowl to munch on...and has done so, but just the fact that the other dish is empty makes him sad (and mad...because he has chased Maggie to the basement three times already...as if to say, if you are down there and she puts food in that dish, its mine...all mine.
