Listening to an older sermon from the pastor of the church I attended in high school, where he talks about whipping his kids and then making them hug him afterward and telling them, I do this because I love you. If this is how you treat your children, I want you to think for a second. Do you want your child to grow up and fall in love with someone who hits them? How would you feel if your childs partner hit them and then forced your child to hug them right afterward?
