Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing together with one spirit and one purpose, fighting together for the faith, which is the Good News. Don’t be intimidated in any way by your enemies. This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but you are going to be saved, even by God himself. For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for him. (Father God, no one wants to suffer for Christ these days [most people seem to only want to get rich and the like], but I see in your word that it says suffering for Christ is a privilege. I have suffered much for Christ since I’ve been born-again, so according to Truth I have been highly favored by you. In light of this truth, how could I ever ask you for anything more? Lord, help me to continue to be willing to suffer for Christ for your great name’s sake. I really mean that Lord! Your great love and devotion to me, and your ability to use me for the Kingdom of God … to get glory from my life are priority for me. Lord, I so want to get closer and closer to you, and whomever else you want me close to. Grant me this request I pray. Amen.) We are in this struggle together.
