Lmao#juju again ECONOMIC Freedom Fighters Commander-in-Chief Julius Malema yesterday warned the ANC not to threaten people with history to win votes. He said the ANC is always reminding people not to forget their past and ANC leaders who spent years at Robben Island to set them free. “People will not eat Robben Island, they want jobs.” Wearing red t-shirts and red berets, more than 3 000 supporters, who packed old Sinaba Stadium in Daveyton, Ekurhuleni, cheered as Malema spoke. “The ANC must stop giving jobs to their relatives and pals and inviting them to get houses when many people have been on waiting lists for many years,” he said. He said the houses the apartheid government built were stronger than the RDP houses people get now. On the issue of police, he said cops must stop taking notice of illegal orders to kill their brothers and sisters. Residents of Mayfield extension one, in Daveyton, were tired of the ANC, EFF supporter Abitha Sithole said. At the end of Malema’s speech, EFF members sang: “This is Malema, we will pray for him, we will kneel and pray for him!” Malema said the EFF will launch its manifesto on 22 February at Mehlareng Stadium in Tembisa, Ekurhuleni.
