Location: Shanghai Description: Role Summary/Purpose: Within GEIP, Software Proposal Consultant is under the ITO (inquire to order) team which is a key member of a cross-functional team who are responsible for supporting our sales organization to evolve customer opportunities during the course of the sales cycle into successfully executable and profitable solution offerings. Essential Responsibilities: – Ability to come quickly up to speed on new technologies and latest product as well as how they can apply to customer needs and practice in a feasible solution and proposal – Complete proposal lifecycle development including: opportunity reviews, proposal planning, customer onsite consulting, solution architecture buildup, proposal generation, estimates & pricing, deal analytics/reviews, customer negotiations, documentation handover. – Development and continuous evolution of global proposal standards, templates, and self-serve tools that drive consistency & repeatability in deliverables, reduce cycle time, and improve overall deal profitability. Including the use of CRM tools (SFDC) to manage proposal workflow & develop pipeline forecasts. – Liaison between Sales Managers, Product and Services team to identify common architectures and estimation concepts. Drive process efficiencies to minimize rework in proposal delivery and project complexities Qualifications/Requirements: – Bachelor degree or equivalent in industrial automation, information technology or relative subject – Minimum of 5 years software solution consulting experience with domain knowledge of operational excellence in infrastructure and/or manufacturing industry; – Minimum of 3 years of product and/or project implementation experience on PLC/HMI/MES/EMI and/or other industrial software; – Proven ability to engage/motivate cross-functional teams and drive fast results – Bilingual language skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese. – Exceptional customer service and good communication skills. – Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project – Able to travel both domestically & internationally Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Desired Characteristics: – Master of Business Administration (MBA) or similar post graduate qualification in business or marketing – Experience in proposal management, including knowledge of contract negotiation and risk management – Domain expertise in software solutions for Analytics, Big Data, Industry Internet – Demonstrated experience with GE Intelligent Platforms’ products & solutions Source / Apply: jobs.gecareers/job/Shanghai-Software-Proposal-Consultant-Job/216454300/ Apply to this job #Beijing #News
