Long time Rogers Park resident, Wayne Juhlin, comedic WDAI overnight DJ during the 70s (pre-disco DAI), passed away 4/17/2014. His nephew, Dag Juhlin, of Poi Dog Pondering and Expo 76, wrote a great tribute: (excerpt) ...his overnight radio show on WDAI seemed like the coolest, most exotic (and slightly dangerous) thing in the world to a 10-year-old me. He wrote comedy, commercials, plays, released albums, worked in the music industry (he was a promo guy, and gave us Fifth Dimension albums!). I met him in 1972, and ran into him many times over the years, and he was always happy to talk to a fan. Last year he told me he was working with John Cleese on promoting Johns show in Milwaukee.
