Looked at site of one of my deceased friends, mildly surprised to find it is still very active as people post to it. My reaction was (a) I had had no idea how beloved this guy was and what a central figure he was to his community; and (b) I feel sorry for those of my friends to died before their was a Facebook to keep their memorial going year after year...they just have whatever happened to be their last blog post sitting there. (Id wonder what my last post would be, but suspect John Herbert will still be hoaxposting for me ten or twenty years after Im gone....)
