Looking for PLC Engineer (Malaysia) - Local or Expatriate Job Responsibility: • Design, configuration, integration and implementation of PLC software • Develop software and hardware design specification • Design, write, implement, test and document PLC and HMI software • Develop control system validation / testing protocols • Develop user requirement specification and control system validation • Specify and purchase PLCs, drives and other electrical components and equipment • Install, test, and start up control system at plant • Develop electrical schematics • Train operators and engineers on control systems Job Requirements: • Degree in PLC or Instrumentation Engineering with special course in PLC/DCS system or equivalent combination of education and technical • Experience working with a variety of control system including DDC, DCS and PLCs • Knowledge of and familiarity with National Electric Code (NEC) and international standards • Experience designing and programming control systems with emphasis in PLCs , SCADA or HMI system • Experience in commissioning and start up of control system is required • Experience with control system networking technologies and PC networking technologies • Experience working with SQL server, Oracle or other relational database • Thorough knowledge of process instrumentation and PLC control system • Experience with HMI/SCADA packages such as IFix, GE Cimplicity, Iconics Genesis, Rockwell RSView, or Wonderware • Experience with Batch system such as: Proficy Batch Execution or RSBatch • Experience with PLCs such as; Rockwell, GE Fanuc, Siemens or Modicon Suitable applicants are invited to send in a detailed MS Word resume to [email protected] stating present/expected salaries and earliest available date.
