Looking for your purpose in life? Ephesians 2:10 says For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Dont get youre career/hobby mixed up with your PURPOSE in life. We sell ourselves short by thinking our careers and hobbies were what we were created for. We we created for God, to do His works, through his strength, to bless others and to share the good news of the Gospel!! Doesnt that take the load off of your life decision making? Im so glad I dont live for photography or traveling, I dont let wanderlust control my life. Im so glad that I dont live for soccer and surfing...that would be horrible, because swells are unreliable and they come and go. Im so glad I dont live for my job, even though we work hard and do our best at it. I live for the one who GIVES LIFE. The one who HAS ALREADY given me purpose in life and I dont have to take those stupid Facebook questionnaires to figure out what my life is about. I dont have to read articles written by 24 year old hipsters who give you 7 ways to figure our your lifes purpose. Jesus is the ONLY way we should be walking, following, living in. In fact, the only way to learn about and understand and experience and love and explore this beautiful universe is by KNOWING and LOVING and FOLLOWING the one who CREATED it all!! Dont get it twisted, YOU HAVE A PURPOSE IN LIFE!
