Looking to practice and perfect your Greenland Kayak skills in the UK? Think about attending Qajaq Games 2014: Friday September 19th to Sunday September 21st. 2014. Based in and around Studland, Dorset.U.K. Fun and Games in Kayaks, based on the Greenland Games of the Inuit. Over the weekend kayakers will compete in.. • Kayak racing • Kayak rolling • Greenland rope techniques • Harpoon throwing Over the years, our competitors have also proved to be excellent instructors, sharing their skills and knowledge, on and off the water. Well meet at the Bankes Arms in Swanage on Friday evening for a social, to discuss the weekend and finalise the timetable. Well return on Saturday evening after the days competitions for a meal and a social. It is very informal. Were based at Knoll beach in Studland bay and can also use Poole Harbour if it is too rough. Camping is available at the nearby Burnbake Campsite or overnight accommodation in the village or nearby Swanage.
