Tree House works with people registered with Work and Income and interested in the hospitality and retail industries at foundation level toward. We work at increasing the skill level of those currently working with or aspire to be working with customers in retail and hospitality. We believe in making real connections between learning and industry employment in the industries we service and help develop. The team here in Christchurch currently have a 80 per cent success rate of obtaining employment for its students. The course runs Mon - Fri 9am till 1pm with public hoildays off. Retail NZQA Unit Standards • CV’s, Cover letters • First Impressions Unit 57 Customer Service • Personality profiles • Barista • 167 Food Safety • LCQ These courses are free for those who meet Work & Income eligibility criteria We also offer public programmes in Food safety, Barista and Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ) Tree House programmes and courses are premised on providing learners with the skills and knowledge to meet the needs of the Hospitality and Retail industry sectors. Each programme and courses are unit standard based and meet the New Zealand Qualifications Authoritys (NZQA) criteria.
