Looks like I have a bit of a hitch with my healing. While changing the tape on my left breast today I noticed that the part which was really bruised was actually weeping, and on closer inspection realised that some of the skin was dying. So I took a photo of the wound and sent it to my surgeon, who agreed with me, that it looks like tissue necrosis/death. Ive sorted antibiotics and will do dressings each day, but the surgeon says its pretty serious. They will ring me back on Friday to let me know if I have to go back to Sydney. It appears that the problem is because of the radiation I had on that breast 9 years ago when I had my last breast cancer. Radiation cooks your breast, your skin and also your lungs to some extent, which never fully recover. Just when I thought it was safe to go back in the water, Jaws comes along to stop me in my tracks! So for all those beautiful people that were sending me Reiki, I would like to ask you to please continue, and hopefully well be able to turn this thing around and get it healed again. And as always, Ill just take one day at a time, and keep up my vitamins, Reiki, Meditation and relaxing. Thanks in advance my friends xoxo
