Lord, how vast are your heavens? I sit gazing at the stars trying to fathom the unfathomable. With nothing more than spoken word ......as far as the east is from the west became reality. I am mesmerized by the beauty I am currently beholding, and yet my mind wonders. As vast and beautiful as your heavens are, you chose to speak them into reality. This can be said about everything in existence except for one creation .........us. Man. When it came to us, you took your own hands and dug them into the dirt. You formed us into your own image. You took your own breath and breathed life in to us. God I pray we not take this beautiful image for granted. You make each and everyone of us unique and precious. You do not make mistakes. God, to those of us that need to hear, let us hear....you have designed everyone for a purpose. Each life matters and is significant. We are all beautiful regardless of what the world may say and not one of us is better than the other. God grant us your vision to see the heart, and forgive us for our arrogance. It is this I pray in the name of my risen saviour, Jesus Christ, Amen.
