Lords and Ladies, it is with great regret and with a heavy heart that Maverick have to pull out of this Saturdays gig at the Diamond Rock Club supporting our brothers in Stormzone Belfast. My bro and our lead guitarist Ryan Sebastian Balfour has had an accident cutting the top of his first finger off and will be unable to play for the near future until it heals, any pressure at all is excruciating and restarts the rapid bleeding inhibiting his ability to play at all never mind to the level he usually would. We know the boys will find a more than worthy replacement for the gig, and as you know even from the excited tone of my plug yesterday that this was one we were REALLY looking forward to :( we hate to have to pull out of any gig, especially this lineup at this venue - but this is unavoidable i am afraid. So we apologise to Harv as he hand picked us for support and any of our hard rockin amigos who were looking forward to seeing us with SZ - sorry for letting yous down! - but i can guarantee you it will be a fantastic gig regardless, so make sure to be there! this Saturday 8:30pm the one and only Diamond Rock Club in Ahoghill! - show the Stormzone boys support before they head off to conquer Bloodstock Festival!!! \m/
