Louise Mensch, should keep her stinging criticism of Saudia Arabia - TopicsExpress

Louise Mensch, should keep her stinging criticism of Saudia Arabia or any other country to herself. Although I concur with everything she says in principle about the freedoms and suppression of the people of KSA, who is she to criticize when Isreal is able to violate the rights of not only women but children. The so called political leaders of the free world allowed a war criminal to march side by side in solidarity with them after the attacks in France. Before you leap on the moral bandwagon, please feel free to address the Palestinians suffering at the hands of Isreal. Where was the moral high ground when millions died in Rawanda, Zimbabwe, Burma and Central African Republic? I guess its clear that corporations control our governments and thus the word democracy does exist as long as corporations and their employees have a safe base of operation. So the mentality of trying to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony does not work, you can not get societies to change at a rapid pace and you certainly can force it to change through punitive punishment. The latter clearly does not work, you need merely look at Iraq, Afganasthan, Syria and Libya as prime examples of forced democracy in the name of morality. A change will happen in KSA but it will be the people of KSA who will need to progress to that change and not some jumped up rich ex MP who is living a lavish lifestyle in New York City. independent.co.uk/news/people/louise-mensch-says-fk-you-in-explosive-tweets-about-david-cameron-saudi-embassy-and-the-queen-over-king-abdullah-tributes-9998709.html
