Louisiana Doughnuts & Co. Beignet Report: they came in a paper.bag freshly fried while you wait, so these babies are HOT. Rolled in powdered sugar (but not much) theyre just enough to give a hint of sweetness, but not overly so. The beignet is more bready and sturdy than your typical donut. It has a lovely crisp-crunchy exterior and the interior is hot and fluffy. The shop offers dips fpr sale with varieties consisting of flavors like jam, nutella, marshmallow fluff and speculoos. But really, the plain is perfect already. Ask for extra powder sugar if you like it sweet. This place JUST opened up last month, abd I see good things in store for this place if it keeps up this level of quality. Overjoyed that I FINALLY I have a place for freshly fried donuts!!!! If I havent made it clear yet, these treats are GEWD. The shop is located in McKinley Hill, in a tiny alcove in the office building next to the Piazza Mall. Try it. :)
