Love 360 “Love is everywhere...” Aşk 360 “Aşk her yerde...” Invitation text: “Moulds, Habits, The roads we know, Those we did not wish to change, But life is not composed of the things we know, You, add more to that which I know! Because knowledge will bless my curious existence!” I.G. Our aim is to create a never before done or said, “new” first while introducing viewers to all reality, good or bad, beautiful or ugly, the necessary experiences of the nature of love. To look from where everybody else looks and show what nobody has seen or to demonstrate that there was a place where nobody would have looked and testify to the visibility of the “value” found there. To arrive at the eternal within a million possibilities... To make everybody say, “This was also possible”. To put “love” into words, not just in a material sense, but also spiritually. To make love, not between genders but between hearts, visible. By emphasising that talent in art, outside of enthusiasm or possibilities, is also an imperative. By creating art for us, not for art’s sake! Thanks to the language of art, which has given us a basis to provide an inter-cultural dialogue, supported what we have wanted to expound, and strengthened the way we express it, we have succeeded in broadcasting many subjects to a wider audience. In our determination to reach and produce what is good, beautiful and true, we have never held back from working with subjects which cannot be easily touched upon. The international theme of the Love 360 Festival, which we have organised within this framework and is now in its seventh year, is “Nature in Love” Our Love 360 Festival aims to bring artists and art-lovers together around the subject of love, giving them a different way of looking at love in a completely different manner using a brand-new method, thereby reviving it and “giving it permanence”. In our exhibitions and parallel events held within the scope of our festival, in which clichés such as the heart symbol will not feature, we wish the different branches and disciplines of art, including gastronomy, to be the spokespeople for all of us, and we are calling the whole world to Istanbul, to make a date with their emotions in “Love”, the centre of life, because there are things we would like to explain and something we have to say... We work in order to learn and we wish to grow through sharing what we have learned... As Istanbul Concept, we aim to create a strong platform which, through the projects we realise, communicates easily and whose strength is in sharing, both inside and outside of the country. Those working at Istanbul Concept should be open to new knowledge, free of prejudice, be able to be respectful to different cultures, and be able to succeed in always moving together towards a defined aim.
