Love this video of English Bulldog Avery the Elf and French Bulldog Murphy! But I am so frustrated by people right now. Cue rescue rant! Why oh why, do I keep getting emails from people for Murphy who have no prior bulldog experience even though I say IN CAPITAL LETTERS that I will only adopt to those with it! And telling me that you think it will be cute to fall asleep with one is not going to help. How did they become the It dog. Why do so many people want bulldogs when they know nothing about them - especially the health issues. And another thing (Im on a roll) there so many friggin backyard breeders now breeding Tri-Colour bulldogs like Avery just so that they can ask for more money because theyre rare. Its the same situation that there was with blue-nose pits years ago. Blue-nose pits that are now spilling out of the shelters. Go on Craigslist and see how many people are breeding Mini bulldogs that will have way more congenital issues, and Coloured bulldogs, so some twat can buy one and breed the shit out of it, or look good to his mates because hes got something they havent. Im so sick of the ignorance and greed. I know judging people wont solve the issue but how do we stop it! Rant over. Now I need chocolate :)
