Mathew 22:39 Theme: Be Careful How You Value People Have you noticed how easy it is to think of the value of a person by the family they belong to; the title they hold, or the work they do? And the way we think of people guides the way we treat them: eg..Its easy to act if the workers is not as important as the boss. The people from His village said Jesus just a carpenters son..(Mathew 13:55). They were really saying, Hes not from the important family, He should learn to stay in His place! Dont let yourself think of other people that way! Listen Yes, each of us will have to give a personal account to God, so dont condemn each other anymore..(Romans 14:12,13) It is a good thing to have respect for other people (like the boss) and the work they do-but dont look up to them as if they are created higher than you. We should respect all people equally. And it is a good thing to be in charge and lead other people (like the workers)- but dont overlook down on them as if they are not as important as you are.We should treat them the same way as we would like to be treated (see Mathew 7:12). God wont judging us by the family we belong to; the title we hold; or the work we do, But He will judge us by the way we think of and treat others. God Bless You
